那D700 是FX - 用AF-D鏡, 影相出來有什麼分別, 因本人想入D700用回以前AF-D鏡. 請各師兄解決小弟疑問. 謝

You wanna ask DX lenses right? D-lens, in Nikon's terminology is to describe those lens with the aperture dial.

If you use DX lens on FF camera, the picture resolution will be reduced by half.

AF-D lenses.... OK with D700.... 不會窄咗

"D" means having an aperture ring on the lens.

u can use BOTH the apperture ring manually OR
u can use fully auto aperture priority from the camera.

d700 同 fx 鏡﹐跟以前一樣。
d80 係 dx 機﹐視角就會窄o左。

af-d 係指有對焦距離資料傳遞功能﹐根 fx 同 dx 又係另一樣o野﹐更唔係拍有無光圈環。
以住 fx 鏡(未有 fx 機前當然無呢個名)﹐af 鏡有分無 d 同有 d。

去到 dx 機專用o既 dx 鏡﹐全都有對焦距離資料傳遞功能﹐不過未必標名係 af-d﹐可以話 dx 已包含o左 d。

另﹐有無光圈環唔係由 d 唔 d 去分﹐總之 g 鏡 同 dx 鏡都無光圈環﹐但佢地已有 "d 功能"。

G lens are the ones that has the "D" technology and withOUT the aperture ring.

As an apology, let me quote the nomanclature from Nikon, just to clarfiy for sect. :)

D lens has the "ability to meter in "3-D" mode, an improvement which allows the body (through a chip in the lens) to better assess distance from the focal plane to the object being photographed."

1) IS THAT MEAN - ALL D40....D90, ETC. IS DX. - the picture resolution will be reduced by half (1000萬有效像素 DECREASE T0 500 萬有效像素) IF USING FLWG LENS(THAT'S MY LENSES) - BUT USING D700 WL GET BACK TO 1210萬有效像素 AS ORIGINAL CAMERA RESOLUTION

OR 2) DX CAMERA (D40...D90) - RESOLUTION REMAIN UNCHANGE AS ORIGINAL - BUT 視角就會窄o左

OR 3) USING FLWG LENS WITH D700 - RESOLUTION WL REDUCED BY HALF - BUT 視角 IS SAME

BESIDES, I WOULD LIKE TO BUY THE SECOND HAND 28-70 AF-D (F2.8) BUT I ALRDY HV BOTH 20MM & 30-70MM.... IS THE PHOTO QUALITY REALLY GDS FM 28-70 AF-D (HOW ABOUT THE MARKET PX - I'VE HEARD ONE SELL 7400 - 4 YRS OLD LENS) & IS IT NECESSARY +WORTH... (OF COURSE I'M A LAZY GUY - DON'T WANT TO CHANGE THE LENS.

Resolution -
Resolution is reduced by half when a dx lens is attached on a fx body.
For dx body with dx or fx lens, resolution remains unchanged.

Angle of view -
In case of the same focal length, dx has narrower angle of view compared with fx body.

as u said,
D700 is fx body - wl reduce half resolution when using my old lenses (af-d = dx lens) - narrower angle is same,

but D80 (I'm using this - dx body) - resolution is same, but resolution reduce half.

is it correct.

so I should buy the fx lens to match D700 to keep the same resolution. otherwise 1210 down to 605 resolution.

I've to consider to buy the old lens if I want to buy D700.

d700 = fx body
d80 = dx body

lens divided
- fx = old lenses af or af-d
- dx

if flwg lens using with d700
dx lens - resolution reduce but angle is same
fx or my lenses (af or af-d)- resolution/angle is same

if flwg lens using with d80
dx lens - resolution/angle is same
fx or my lenses (af or af-d) - resolution is same but angle narrow

am I right ?
