Use in D300, for me the range of two lens is ok and I don't need to wide, mainly for 人像, I consider the picture quality, of course if the quality is near I will go for 17-55.

I know the main different is FX and DX and for long term it must 24-70, but price different about 4K, any comments for the quailty?

17~55 f2.8 is better for d300

becasue 24~70 range are for fx format
17~55 are same as 24~70 but the range for aps-c dx fornat like d300

if yu get the 24~70 you will not happy to use becasue of the wide angle is not wide enough

我用D200 + 17-55/2.8呢個組合兩年幾, 講真好好用, 但係而家諗住轉24-70/2.8, 因為黎緊都一定上FX, 同埋為左nano......

若果部D300買入不久, 相信又不多機會花錢昇級, 若果一般人影相, 部D300應該夠用3-5年.
呢幾年若果入左支24-70就可能會唔夠WIDE, 唔太方便。
若果喜歡用一輪就TRADE出去既話, 那麼就24-70就唔會買錯, 因為末來應該主流會變成FX吧!
DX有機會成為過渡的產品了!

28mm 前 17-55 好d, 28mm 後 就 24-70 好d.

如果影人, 就算用d300 都係 24-70 好, 24-70影人多出既 56-70mm 比 17-55 多出既 17-23mm 有用.
