鳥兄，我唸你有d誤會我既意思，我唔係用ff 或 apsc 同部無反比。只不過我覺得你完全唔理解大cmos同細cmos 既差別。以你提到：

即係細cmos就會唔夠清楚? 可能我唔明啦 咁D電視台用大大部機但細細片cmos去拍電視節目都出到1920x1080

又如果只計cmos 尺吋咁 j1 都唔係貴啊! 算係公價

好明顯你唔太明cmos size 大小既意義。
我自己唔係鼓吹大cmos大曬，而且我對部1仔完全無反感。只不過見你誤會其他師兄既意思先開聲。

OK, c-hings, let's cut the "talk". I got a J1 yesterday and here is it.

First, I don't care about CMOS size, as long the output is good.
Second, I want a small dc to replace my 4 year old Exilm as a 2nd camera.
Third, the crop factor is just a "number", again, why bother !! The only concern one should take into consideration is the effective range. That's y I got the 10-30mm + 30-110mm kit, which covers 27mm-297mm. Anyone still wanna criticize on the crop factor, go for it.

My first preference was the X10 but since they come the N1 and in view that I can make good use of my existing AFS lenses, I decided to go for N1.

Why J1 and not the big brother?? My deciding factor is size. And I thought about the occasions I would use the viewfinder, I'd rather keep using the D700 under such occasions. Also the J1 has a built-in flash which is handy and most important of all, it costs 2k less. (the flash is another 1.3k on top)

Photo quality - superb Nikon quality as usual which other 4/3 can't beat. Sharp, rich color, good WB ...etc.

Function - here comes the down side and the biggest disappointment, even for myself. Unlike Sony that has a great panorama system, PEN that has numerous shooting modes or "play filters", N1 has picked the response "E - none of the above". Those are really gadgets and attractive features that will capture consumers nowadays (as a lot of ppl, especially newbies, like to use those features to produce pictures that will attract more audiences).

In my opinion, I don't think N1 is a success in terms of a new product line to capture users from different customer segments or even "steal" customers from other brands. In fact, even Nikon users (like in here and other overseas forums) hesitated to get the N1.

From another angle, if I step back and cut those fancy features and think about photography fundamentals, all I need is PASM, exposure and flash control camera that can produce superb quality photos. And this is it, the Nikon N1.

I love my white J1.

there are no camera is worst but need to depend on price ,size,pq

v1 and j1 is lost the advance on price and size
lens too big depend on a small size cmos

if v1 can dicount at lease to 70%(about 5xxx or under) i will go for it

閃燈就無試過，但係部野都幾有份量。咁多部無反，呢部都算無咁玩具。你不如去試下機啦。小弟學希臘實行緊縮政策。無望買新玩具咖啦。

The spec is GN of 5 meters at ISO 100, good enough for most occasions.
Although the design is like the antenna or R2D2, it is designed to adapt with bigger lenses. :)

the calulation is gn5

mean if your aperture f is f5.6

when the iso set to iso100

that mean can flash to 5/5.6= 0.8928571m

if your iso higher than will more far

if your aperture is f2.8
gn5/f2.8=1.7857142m far
