Why don't consider P100 the same Zeiss lens ,1/1.8 ccd. Its only difference with W1 is not using AA battery, smaller LCD but is thinner, less wt, 3 color choice. Sony dc can imprint date on photo and P100 issue top photo quality at its class. ( dc thinner than 30mm, light enough for daily carrying use ). Water goods @2380 and I find in Fortress " Hong "@ 2890, Gift 128Mb Sony MS and Sony dc pouch is quite a good price.
