I want to know will D50 better than D70s???
Althugh I bought D70s tonight,but I still want to know I bought D70s is it wrong,will D50 better than?????

D50同D70s基本上的必有用的function（或將這些function的設定放在menu是經過比較麻煩的步驟才能選用），所以D50比D70s平少少卻不是得多。
我諗你唔會覺得買了70s而不是D50會後悔（買了D50卻後悔沒買D70s的機會更高吧）！

D50同D70s基本上的規格相同，只是D50的對象是入門用家，所以扣起有些對他們未必有用的function（或將這些function的設定放在menu是經過比較麻煩的步驟才能選用），所以D50比D70s平少少卻不是得多。
我諗你唔會覺得買了70s而不是D50會後悔（買了D50卻後悔沒買D70s的機會更高吧）！

It really depends on your usage, D50 is a sweet travel camera. Given its light weight and fast start-up, you can have it swinged round your neck whole day doing snap shots.

Apart from the DoF, the only difference between D50 and D70s lies (to me) mainly on the after process capability. From the few shots (in Raw) I taken from a D50 borrowed from my colleague, I noticed that they are less sensitive to NoiseNinja and the sharpening tool of Photoshop CS. But I must say that the shots were all taken indoor with ISO800, a pretty naughty environment for testing indeed.

BTW, I dunno if it is the problem of my 50mm f1.4, it seems that D50 is more responsive (in AFC mode) than D70 in extremely low-light environment. While I won't dare to add this as an advantage of D50, but at least, it may be fair to comment that the focusing speed of D50 is not any slower.

As a side note, if u wish to mount a 12-24mm to either D50 or D70s, it would be better to use higher ISO than bounce flash. A majority of the photos I took at 12mm and f5.6 got horroble shadows :( I am pretty lame with flash shots though. LOL
