Shopping at Stanley Street? Big No No! Post time: 8 月 28 日 |

I shopped for a Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye yesterday and when I popped into the shops along the eldery run shops along the street, none of them has taken interests in getting a price quote for me. Over 80% simply quoted a standard retail price of HKD6900 and some even bruntly replied an approximate number of around 6k. In an extreme case, a walking-dead dumbly replied an "out of stock" while I can clearly spotted on in the "glass coffine" in front of him. Gosh! I just left and let him sink to his own grave.
Maybe it is of your interests to know that almost all the lens they are selling are simply put in Pre-WWII like shabby glass cases. And you won't find it surprising that a few old brokes having tea-gathering in their front, fumming water vapors all over.
I finally got one for 4.7k from a shop next to Laser attended by a mid-40s. Not a good deal for the price but yet, not a bad one.
For me, I won't shop myself there and of course, won't allow my families and friends to do the same.
