小弟計畫出年年中買350D (依家儲緊錢)
主要影風景, 飛機, 車, 間中影下花....(應該就唔會影人像住架喇)
度過一陣得出下面呢個list:
Canon EOS 350D (body)

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Canon EF 28mm f/2.8
Sigma AF 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 DC

因為財政就唔係好充裕....一舖唔想用超過$10000
請大家俾D意見我 麻煩曬

另外想問下其實唔要kit lens會唔會冇咁好? 唔該曬

Have better plan and buy yourself a few nice primes or just one good zoom. Spreading your money on a few lenses might end up with a bunch of junks.

I have to agree with wlachan.
I am saving money to buy 350D too. In a month from now I can get one ^^.
I first thought about spreading money on cheaper lens that could cover from 10 to 300mm (3 to 4 lens) but i am a bit afraid of the quality and durability of the lens.

I use these two lens often

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II (人像)

Sigma AF 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6 DC (daily snapshot)

Also the 70 -300 was not use that much when you travel (too heavy) unless you like go to concert that often ..

Kits lens was oka but .. everyone say its not good then didn't bring it out often ...

Plz remind there is lots of extra you need to buy such as external flasher, remote, tripod, travel bag, storage box, hand strap, battery grip, extra batt ... etc

wwon001, how do you feel your 18-125 Sigma lens?
I think for most shooting I would like a wide angle and a standard lens.

wwon001, I agree that many people say the kit len's not good so I don't hv much confidence on it.

I think I'll now give up the 28 mm and upgrade the sigma one to 18 - 200mm coz 300 mm is required to take good pictures of aircrafts in hong kong.../ " \

As usual, kit len is not so good. However, I purchased a kit set 350D already and found the kit len quality is not poor as many people said. To be honest, how many people those really tried it before they comment??

It sure takes me some times on find the the lens I want for the body. Especially I have restrict budget at this moment. I guess I may just go with kid lens for a little while at least it provides a tool for standard shooting. After I get used to the camera, I may consider other lens.
