Difference is $600. The guy at DC Career tells me that there's no difference for water goods or hong goods except when you need service, you can bring the camera to Canon service center in HK for servicing vs. bring the camera to them and they will bring it to japan for FREE. What do you guys think?

What is the disadvantage to buy water goods?

Budget is around $6000 - $6500
