I have a Canon Powershot A80. However, I found that when I take pictures indoor both in daytime and night-time without using flash, it take me a long capture time and especially when I take picture for my cats, only blur picture can be seen since they move.

I am thinking is it because I am not using the DC properly with a wrong settings or should I buy a new DC.

Should Fujifilm FinePix F30 Zoom would be a nice choice compare to my old DC? I mainly use the camera for my new coming baby indoor with no flash.

I suggest u to buy DSLR like 350d + 50mm f1.8 if you don't mind the price & size. This combination will fullfil your requirement. You can have good pics for your new baby
