30D or 400D which is the best ?

I had a 400D but I've switched to 30D yesterday because I wanted these additional functions:

5fps continuous shooting - for panning cars

spot metering - for taking concert photos

for travelling and general use, I'd prefer the 400D for lightness and slightly higher resolution because of the 10m pixel (1800W/PH for 400D vs. 1650LW/PH for 30D).

go check the tech. spec. of both machines. It is pointless to ask question on which one to get without taking a glance to the product itself.
