may i know how many pics can the 1g sd card be taken??

There are a lot of variables, megapixels size, JPEG compression or RAW, camera manufacturers, ISO used, colours / lighting...

If you have a digital camera, you can usually check how many photos remained in a blank card (say 128mb). And you can make a good guess then.

用 1000MB 大約 計 :

dc 仔 :
5MP cameras ... @1.6 MB JPG 相 .... 1000/1.6 = 625 張 (大約)
2 MB jpg 相 .... 1000 / 2 = 500 張
8MP carmera (e.g. CanonS80) @3 mb 相 ... 1000/3 = 330 張

dslr 機好多 jpg 相 都 3.5mb --- 5 mb 張
平均 4.0 mb .... 1000/4. = 250 張
raw 相 7 to 9 mb 張 ..... 1000/9 = 110 張
(not all DSLRs are the same e.g. Nikon D200--- JPG 4.8MB, RAW 15.8MB)
