Photograph
(i) a round ball to describe its roundness
(ii) a round ball to create an illusion of flatness
(iii) a cube to describe its volume
(iv) a cube to create an illusion of flatness

How can I use the camera in order to have these effects?

Shoot with atrong side light, include the shadow and horizontal line.
