To be honest, i m a nikon user, so i can only provide info abt nikon's cameras or lenses

Nikon have juz released a new lens AF-S Micro 105mm F2.8G VR, cost approx. $5800, aperture (光圈) 2.8 and 105mm enables you to create a beautiful bokeh effect, futher more, nikon implemented its new technology VR-II, vibration reduction 2(防震), which can assist you on preventing blurry images... however, if your budget is quite tight, i would recommend you to purchase an older lens AF Micro 105mm F2.8D (cost $2700) , always keep this in mind: older lens does NOT mean lower quality. This is proven from the release of the MTF analysis of the new lens (the one with VR), which appears to be worse than the old one... the only problem is that the old one is slower in focusing, and nosier (since it does not hv SWM motor), and does not include the VR function. But i would still recommend the old one, coz VR will somehow reduce the quality of the image....
Another alternative might be AF micro 60mm F2.8 D, and i believe this would not be a good choice because the bokeh efect wont be as obvious as the 105mm ones..

add another point,

i said that the MTF of new one is worse than the old one...although the ones posted in the nikon website shows that the new one is better, but the actual testing by other magazines and review forums show different results...

yes if it is installed onto a digital SLR, no if installed to a film SLR.

juz a reminder, the multiplication is just the "relative focal length" not that it is really x1.5. This is because the size of the CCD or CMOS sensor is smaller than 35mm film, therefore, the edges will be "cut out", not the increase in the focal length, its juz "appeared" to have a longer focal length.
