iso係菲林機的菲林的「感光度」

iso越細就越少雜訊
但iso細代表感光度低
即是比起較高iso需要更多時間曝光或更大光圈才可得到正確曝光

相反，iso高成像較多雜訊，睇起黎冇咁sharp
但係因為感光度高，就可以用更快快門或更細光圈

所以iso400或更會被稱為「高速菲林」

iso is the sensitivity of the film, higher the iso, the faster the shutter/the smaller the aperture, but the bigger the grain. lower the iso, the slower the shutter/the bigger the aperture, but the finer the grain. Sometimes the grain can be an effect.
