樓下的師兄大多已說了。光學水平在無可挑剔的地步。最重要是輕巧, 便攜性高。好難想像一支小小的鏡頭能有F1.4光圈及如此優秀的光學水平。

F1.4打後的散景波波形狀不太討好。
另外好多人為它高昂的售價卻步。但想深一層, 與其等待某某大牌出新一代改良版的標頭, 還在期望有大光圈表現有進一步提昇, 或者對新果支巨無霸OTUS 551.4期望佢快跌價至萬多元(十年後吧), 不斷兜兜轉轉, 倒不如付出多少少一步到位。

用過各大廠所出的頂級50MM標頭, 其實它們最大問題都是全開光圈的成像水準還有提昇空間。但LEICA這支標頭, 在全開光圈的銳利度及焦內解象力, 日系所有標頭都在起步點前已經輸得很遠。所以在F1.4光圈做出來的銳利, 厚實, 油潤感, 加上像油畫的散景, 及暗角所營造出來的氣氛, 係此鏡頭獨一無二的味道。亦係我用覺O甘多支標頭中, 能夠完成我心目中想影的效果的一支好鏡。
用了一個月, 已經成為與A7最佳組合, 影人像一流, SNAPSHOT好好用。
感覺上配合PEAKING作手動對無時, peaking出的中焦提示會比較明顯, (與我用開的CONTAX 手動鏡比較) 可能同支鏡透光量高及對比高有關。當然這樣亦可提高手焦的速度及準繩度。
不過未知新一代神力環效果如何, 如果配合神成環變成最近對焦有0.3M的話, 又是一支可拍小品的超級利器。

7 - 抗耀光能力一流, 沒鬼影 就算1.4全開 紫邊都是非常非常輕微 收到F.2 已經達至完美的表現!
8 - 變形控制得非常好...已經近乎"0"變形

1 - 一個字"貴"(也是Leica鏡頭的常識吧)
2 - 光圈不夠圓又起角 這點可能就是散景扣分既原因
3 - 相片現代感較為強烈 而且反差略為偏高少少 可能非球面鏡所致
4 - 光圈全開時 暗角頗為明顯

不負眾望的一支超級好鏡...德國製鏡頭...真係令人贊歎...包括製作可程中...以人手打磨及組裝...感受到LEICA鏡頭 果類高貴氣派及頂尖光學技術 集與一身...只要自己親身接觸才可以感覺到多令人震怒...一試難忘! 雖然價錢係令人出血 但用完之後絕對無後悔 更何況佢並不單只是支鏡頭那麼簡單 而係一件扣人心弦既藝術品 小弟有幸擁有...

chrome 鏡好靚仔, 全開sharp爆
focus 位勁sharp, 散景好creamy, 變得有3d 既感覺, 立體感一流. 接近 M Noctilux 鏡

好吾掂,太完美, sharp 得太可怕. 用響 m9 仲大 wok. 用D800E 35 1.4G , 乜G mud G 都 ok, 未試過sharp到有頂吾順的感覺.

推出式金屬遮光罩夠方便, Leica鏡做工精細扎實就一定勒.
變焦環順滑, 浮動鏡片ASPH, 影像質數冇可批評.
但喜歡舊鏡feel既就未必like.

真係諗唔到

相對75/1.4輕便得多, 要清夠銳利, 要散影又俾到. 拍人一流, 去旅遊只帶兩鏡的話非24同呢支莫屬.

Fluorite lens
Classic focus ring

You cannot mount the filter (including all brands) with the lens hood attached. The round metal lens hood is so beautiful. But you have to decide if you want to risk the lens without filter.
43mm lens cap is extremely difficult to find. I spend HKD 650 only for the 43mm Leica lens cap

I am surprised to read from the instruction that this black chrome version contains the fluorite lens element. I recall that only the Summicron 35mm 8 elements contains the fluorite lens. I particularly like the classic focus ring. In my opinion it is more easy to focus and more accurate than the focus tab. This 50/1.4 black chrome is my sharpest Leica lens.

super super super sharp images.
superb 3D rendering.
it takes great portrait.
1.4 is fast enough for most circumstances hense no need to carry the heavy duty noctilux.
size is relatively compact for such a high quality lens.
looks great on any M cameras.

some ppl might find it too sharp but that's what i like about it so i dont see any cons on this lens apart f from the price (28k)....

one of the best 50mm lens in the world. it is quite rare cos there is no stock everywhere. i acquired mine second hand in mint condition. i have to say that once i had this lens attached onto my M8, i dont want to take it off anymore....even though i haave some other high quality lenses.... this 50lex asph is just like the tools made for god. focusing is smooth and easy. i compared this lens with the current version 50 summicron which is also famous for being sharp as well but it cannot be compared to the 50lux at all.

if i am only allowed to have 1 lens, i will no doubt choose this masterpiece.

Very sharp, better than any 50mm I have before

bloody expensive

Just have it for 2 weeks on my New M9. Very good and really light weight. New to Lecia and use D3s all the time. You guys knows about the weight of the D3a especially with the 24-70 attached. The new M9 with this lens really save my days and I can carry it with me all the time now.
