優點:
1. Lens offers exceptional sharp qualities at F2.8 and smaller aperture
2. Optical view finder allows more discreet shooting
3. Excellent image quality, even at low light and high ISO
4. Long-duration battery
5. Retro rangefinder look
6. AUTO-ISO works quite well, but otherwise an ISO dial would be good.
缺點:
1. Switching between optical and electronic view finder is cumbersome
2. Switching between macro and non-macro is cumbersome (two clicks, no assignable function button)
3. manual focus requires too much button actions (AF-L, then twist the ring. The ring measures acceleration, and not distance - this is different from traditional mechanical lenses like on the Leica)
4. Bokeh is not very pronounced due to the small aperture (F2.0) and short focal length.
5. In EVF, the frame rate is reduced until you half-pressed the shutter button. This is problematic when composing the frame but without feedback in the viewfinder.
6. The optical view finder has parallax distortion so pictures taken is not 100% corresponds to what's seen in the lens (but this is the same for rangefinders to my knowledge)
7. I have a SanDisk Extreme (30mb/s write), but it still can't write RAW fast enough with noticeable lag. My Nikko has higher pixel density but won't take as logo.
8. Not every selectable options can be set from the menu. For instance, selecting the AF frame size requires pressing the AF button which turning the command-dial. This is not very intuitive (coming from a Nikon school, where all combo-key short cuts have equivalent menu options.

評價:
I's a great street snapshot camera, but not a portrait camera and not an all-purpose.
This camera takes some time to get used to, and it can't snapshot like a good Nikon DSLR. However, it does weight much less and offers DSLR like quality at 35 mm. Once I have conditioned myself to this limitation, then this is a very lovely camera. The menu system is somewhat counter-intuitive (given my Nikon bias) and could be more organized.
I have one complaint though. I bought the official case, but the case cannot accommodate the camera with the official lens hood on. And with the lens hood on, the original lens cap won't fit :( So it seems Fuji the camera and Fuji the accessories didn't talk during the camera development. If you want the case to carry the lens with the lens hood attached, better look elsewhere than from Fuji, and remember to buy a 49mm lens cap elsewhere.
