I’m A7MK3 and 5DMK4 user, eos R is worst then a7iii at least Sony got 5axis build in, I can use some old lens with out VC or OSS and shoot at night . I’m not Sony fan boy I just telling the truth, also my fd got a7r3 and it got pixel shift , that really useful at shooting stable shoot, making 116mp photo... EOS R I had be using for a week and it expensive I relized -6ev af is same with a7iii... and A7iii got batter ISO and low light preferment whatever photo or video, I guess Sony is the biggest cmos factory in the world, and don’t have wide angle lens for now , but 2875 f2 is great but expensive, I would like to buy a7r3 with Tamron 28-75 f2.8 only 6000... and get good quality,
also the quality just like canon 5DMK4... D!G!C 8 had no huge improvements !! The dynamics rage basically the same ... ask a “video maker” I not recommend you get EOS R because there are less lens for choice and Sony is Doing 6K to 4K... not I sell it to my fd if u are canon fan boy you can buy it
