7D is a better camera when comparing the two~!

Here is how I see it:

The 60D is a good camera, it could be better if it has the metal body from the previous 50D. But after all, it is a just a body material (if you drop it hard enough, metal vs plastic makes no difference) The 60D feel solid on hand too. The focus system is great, especially I upgraded from the 450d to the 60D myself. I love the moveable LCD, it lets you to take shots from different angle, not to mention great for video mode as well.

The 7D on the other hand is an excellent camera. It shines with dual processors, brand new AF system and 8fps burst mode. ISO performance is better on the 7D in terms of noise in higher range.

Here are my suggestions if you are on a budget:

1) Go for the 60D if you like the moveable LCD and use your DSLR for video. Then use the money that you saved for not going for the 7D for a better lens.

2) Go for the 7D if you value the 8fps for sports photography or scene that requires a faster, more accurate AF, like any form of racing or sports events.

3) If you are going to buy the 7D brand new, in my opinion, I will find an used 5D mark II.

7D比50D 同 5D2 AF好好多
60D AF好似同50D一樣，不過已比5D2呢部夜盲機好
但如果我去西藏我會買60D或600D

the fast focus system, the 8 frame per second is the main selling point of 7d which I love and need it very much.
you folks always compare the difference between 2 cameras, well, personally, the ultimate quality is only visible to very professional person, or when it is going to be 8x10 photos...........
the fast frame per second is what I need in figure skating - and you will greatly benefit if in photo kids too.
if you don't need fast frame per second, yes, i agree you have thousnd of choice,......
to my situation it is only 7D or go up to 1D series of 10 frame per second!!
I picked and are using 7D. Good enough.
