4/3 and FF have different "depth of field", the ideal focus is just a very narrow point in terms of few mm for FF, this is an advantage of FF to have such narrow depth of field

of course u can said say it's an disadvantage because it has too narrow depth of field.

PS, I have both OM 510,500 and some ZD lens & Canon dSLR plus many lenses. This is my own experience

但 Canon 就無份....

無可否認.om的鏡頭的確係比c同n記銳利度大.
但同時c同n記現今的機.係cmos技術都比om好.而且處理器都比om強.
所以出raw時.反過來c同n記的照片就比om好.

What a logic that a smaller sensor is better than big one, if this logic can be truth then 4/3 > APS-C > FF > medium format ???

I don't think so, wheather an image is sharp or not depends upon a lot of factors, lens quality, focusing, sensor, anti-alias filter, camer processing or post processing any hand shake for image blur.

還有世界上很多其它的精密實驗室都係用~ZEISS,萊卡,羅敦司得,奧林匹克的,

唔知閣下知否製造靚鏡片玻璃....
要用古法製造,才可得到密度最平均的上等玻璃嗎？
一般都要5年以上....才算得上是好玻璃....
最高級數的超過20年..
等於要用現代新技術製造XO拔蘭地一樣.....想那那聲造出XO酒,是暫時沒有可能的....不過....以後我就唔敢講！

This is not an attack of anyone, I think many C-Hing in this forum don't open eyes much on the real world, only dreaming that Leica, Contax etc. great name on optics. BUT most lenses designed today are Computer-Aided-Design.

The only advantage that old lens better than new lenses is that many old lens has very high % of lead oxides which increases the refractive index of glass a lot. As many western countries ban the use of leaded glasses optics, so an old lens may be better than the new one in this aspect.

I am the supporter of Canon, OM, Nikon, Sony-KM, Panasonic etc.

I also like old Leica lens for its sparkles, but in terms of MTF, ALL old lens are not even comparable to recent plastic lens.

三鹿奶粉係中國太空人唯一專用奶粉，咁係咪代表佢生產的BB奶粉都係第一流水平先？

人地醫院選擇用某鏡係咪真係單單只係因為佢係地上最強最靚？ 我諗中間原因並唔係咁單純囉。

不如用自己對眼去睇，覺得自己最喜歡邊部機影出來的相，唔好人話乜就乜，發覺原來其中一部機，平好多但條毛反而影得清晰過D貴機，咁咪轉用佢囉，亦可以在forum提出感想分享下，不過又唔駛出咁多相同post咁誇的。
