小女子剛剛玩攝影,之前用canon傻瓜機.現在想買部prosumer 機玩下…
唔知買canon G10 定 sony cyber shot DSC-Hx1 好…
主要用來旅行, 行山..影風景.,,,山山水水…名山大川和遠景.
最好colour鮮艷, 操作容易,方便….

網上無咩HX1的comments. 只有G-10好多人話好, 而加心大心細啦…

請各位幫助分析下….

Hi Ming,

If you are looking for convenience and quality , go for G10.
If you are looking for quality and don't mind the equipment weight, go for 500D.
If you budget is not your restriction and want to make good use of every dollar, go for 1 small DC (no need G10, just go for a very small for convenience) and 1 DSLR (for girls, 500D with video function would just suit your need)

One more thing on brand choosing

For DC, choose whatever you like when you find it suits you

For SLR, it's not just a camera, but a whole system. Every system or every brand has its pros and cons. It would be difficult to choose from.

But the GOLDEN RULE is choose the majority your friend chose. Because someday you will need to borrow lenses, flashes from friends. It would be too late when you find that you are not the same brand with them. haha

Canon G10 gives better picture quality but less optical zoom (5X)
Sony DSC-HX1 has 20X optical zoom and is classified as a long range DC

So ask yourself if you needs high optical zoom or you want better quality

I think girls look cool with G10.

If you want to try DSLR, you can start with 450D.

The sensor and processor of 1000D are too old...not up to date at all...
