Try either the EF 50mm compact macro (1:2) but enough for product photos or the EF-S 60 macro (1:1) but more expensive and can only be used on APS-C body.

Go to Canon showroom to try and bring your own CF card to record the result.

Tamron 90 Marco, is better than the 50/60 macro in terms of the longer working distance, it is very sharp in the $2xxxx range
