I will buy 500d next week and my plan as below :

1. 500d kit set + A09 + 50-250
2. 500d body + A16 + 50.8 + 55-250

Which one is better as I mainly to make photo to my kids.
Should I also buy Flash ?

for choice 1,
A09 同支kit 重覆左d 焦段, 可以用 sigma 30 1.4 黎取代佢, 1.4 光圈係室內好有用, 比起A09 同 A16 既2.8大好多, 方便你係室內影bb 又唔洗加閃燈

for choice 2,
支50 1.8 係室內比較難用, 因為50 *1.6=80mm 焦段

Personally speaking 重覆左d 焦段 is ok and in some case is necessary.
Because I feel I do not want to change lens immediately once object is at the max of shorter zoom lens.

For me I am using

Body + A09 (28-75mm) + 55-250mm
There is overlap between 55-75
but if I zoom near objects but it runs beyond 55mm say at 70mm I still can catch it using A09. If object is usually far (eg using 100mm) then use 55-250mm but suddenly runs near me and nearer than 75mm I still can catch it using 55-250mm without need to change lens.

Don't feel compelled to copy my config as different people have different need. My combination is not wide enough (ie missing 17-27mm). But my need in that range is rare so it is ok for me but could be not good/wide enough for many people.

So think about what you need and pick the combination yourself. Hard for others to make up the choice for you completely.

How about 50D body + A16 + 50.8 + 50-250 + DI622 or
use A16 instead of 50.8 as my budget is HKD 11,000.00

30.4 就真係比較多走焦問題, 即係慣性對焦5準, 你買果時試真d , 試影多幾張睇下, 又或者用500d 個liveview 功能放大10倍黎對焦睇下

如果真係之後先發現走焦, 都可以上cs, 你上sigma 個網頁會有地址

行貨會有3~5 年保養, 可以任cal

Oh 原來 antn 係呢度有 post 咁我諗我係呢度講會冇咁亂.
如果 3, 同 7 歲既話小朋友通常都冇時停, 係戶外長焦都會幾常用, 55-250 似乎都係一個唔錯既選擇. 另外室內加支 35 2/ 30 1.4 都好岩用, 如果唔怕重 50d 都真係幾好, 不過如果你仲意拍埋片既話咁就 500d 啦.

我係新手, budget 10k 之內, 而家plan 緊 2 個 options:
1. 500d 18-55 kit set + 50 mm 1.8 II + 55-200 is (視情況需要) 窮人三寶
2. 500d body (around 5600)+ Tamron A16 大光圈標準變焦 + 55-200 is (視情況需要)

外閃 nissin DI622 經已係 budget buy.

ps: 有無師兄知道而家nissin DI622 and A16 ( canon mount )幾錢? 以上 package 係成成有無辦法一次執齊, (吳駛到處去)

曾經有 plan 50d body + Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM 不過 over budget,
而且有500d 慢慢練習 2-3 年再決定.
