in fact, my cousin in Shanghai bought a 7D (while it newly launched) in Shanghai, body only at around RMB10,000
and he's still having lots of fun at the moment
only set back is, China warranty only, not international

ps: my cousin is German-Chinese mix, now working in Shanghai

well....I bought my 550d 18-135 kit Hong set in SZ also, rmb 7000....I found its cheaper than HK. BUT, be reminded:

1. China Hong Goods only 1 year warranty(HK applicable)
2. If you really need to buy from China, make sure you buy from "Real" shop, not from internet.
3. If you don't get 正規法票 from the shop, you don't get warranty, so make sure your price include 正規法票. (Usually they will ask you to add 4-8% of the price)
4. Never buy the goods if the boxes are opened before.

多數係將舊機當新機賣盒呀單都可以換的又或者從香港水路走過去的所以甘平^^但真正的行貨一定貴過香港因為佢地都係叫我地d香港人幫佢地帶上去比佢地賣的,我自已都有在淘寶賣野的所以知到一點,如果ching你真係要買都係睇香港買好過啦^^
