I have this lens
1. the hood is useless
2. the optical quality (sharpness & contrast) beyond f3.5 is very good, below f4 the lens is a soft focus lens (not out focus), but very soft as my EF 135/2.8 softfocus setting 1
3. the build of this lens is very good, like a TANK (all metal), the MF ring need a longer time to accustom to
so u essentially buy a f4 lens if u want sharp image
OR u essentially buy a f2.8 softfocus lens if u like softfocus image for portrait

我有支,但岡賣左..
呢支鏡用在菲林機上真是無得頂..又靚又sharp..
但用在數碼機上,正如Obi-Wan兄所講..
唔知係咪光學原因,在2.6-4 段,真的很肉..要F.4以上先至開始sharp..
但小弟最常用的是大光圈部份....
所以無辦法下就將支鏡賣左.....

我相信支鏡係 "愛展能" film age 嘅 optics
好sharp, 但冇理菲林面的反光，向film 方面的lens coating 唔係MC
所以用係有強反光CCD會差

題外話，我估數碼時代冇人會特登去買支柔焦鏡呱~ （以前菲林年代真係好想有canon嗰支柔焦玩！）
