Zeiss Arriflex Planar 50mm f/2 Lens for 35mm cine movie Camera / Arri / RED.

This is a movie lens, like Cooke, and Kern. Believe can shoot very dramatic images than normal camera lens. Can any one clarify whether it can be used in Leica M8?

Also what is Arriflex/Red meant ?
