I guess this is pretty much a characteristic of most of the HK people.

e.g. Lots of people hardly even do any exercise and suddenly go to run the Charter Marathon. Also some even go to cross-harbour swim.

I am not in HK and not sure how strong the wind gonna be. But there is a 100km/h wind crossing Australia last week, I can say that only someone who are nut or extremely stupid will go out in those strong wind. 100km/h wind is strong enough to put out a HUGE tree from the ground, I don't know what's gonna happened if it is 180+km/h as mentioned in the news.

btw, please don't risk out fire-fighter's valuable life to save someone stupid enough to get themself killed in bad weather.
