I want to buy some special effects cokin filters for my cp5700. I only know that it has both A and P series. Can anyone give me some comments or advices? ( I really think for some case, using physical filters are differnt from using Photoshop darkroom.)

What kind of effect do U want?

hmmm U know, it will be some investment. so I try to look for advices.
Basiclaly I am looking for gradual filters in different tone color n intensity
grey grad, tobacco grad, mauve grad. I don't want to buy screw-in ones and that s why I consdier Cokin. The great night photographer (DERYL)in photosig told me that he did it thru Cokin. However he had only used A filters but he thinks(he didnt really try)m P or professional filters shoudl be better.... That s the background

however, it reduces ur 5700's mobility if u dun use screw-in filter...and the look has a bit ugly(just my mind)
in fact, i think so that use the grey grad. in physical better than do it by photoshop. for me, i just buy the filter which effect is can't or hard to do in photoshop ( for instance: cpl, nd, cs...etc)
if u really want to buy cokin filter, u can try to go to hung hom square. a photography shop in there. last week, my friend went to that shop to look for some filter, they recommended my friend to buy cokin filter. besides, the price of this shop offered is quite attractive. 10-30% less than mongkok

過獎啦...風景靚就好自然影到靚相, 人人都可以~~
哦~~~呢張係無用filter或者ps 執過既(其實9成我既相都係唔會執既, 因為唔係好識用ps, 淨係識得加字, 加框, 轉黑白, auto contrast 同試過crop圖)
而且部v2 都無adapter啦, 手持cpl影好麻煩
個天影得咁藍係因為當時順光, 即自己背向太陽, 大約早上9時左右...加上canon 機都一向色彩飽滿, 而越高就越藍(大慨係光既折射問題), 所以我影直度, 可以影得藍d....
如果呢張相要加filter, 我就可能會加wine grad(唔記得咩名)

cokin 既filter 我就無問價錢, 上次我係去買hoya 既cpl, $150 比雙成平20蚊, 不過見到隻manfrotto 308rc ball head 比旺角平50-70蚊

我都有幾個gradual color, 除左grey, 其他用過之後就唔想再用e.g gradual wine(similar to orange), 因覺得好唔自然, 同大自然既真色彩冇得比.
所以你最好買一塊半塊試下先, 唔好見色就買, 否則可能後悔.
