There are a lot of topics in this forum mentioning about resize photos. Peoples recommend ACDsee and Photocap (Please refer to those discussions). To reduce the memory size of each pictures without reducing the resolution (the number of pixels), you have to give up the quality. This can be done by choosing a higher compression rate of the Jpeg format. The compression rate, usually represented by image quality from 1-10 or 1-12. Choose smaller number to get a relatively smaller file memory size.
