I use 300D to take 6MP photo, want to crop my photo to make it better.
If I want to crop photo in 3:2 ratio to print 4R photo, Which figures should I use? I want to reserve largest pixels so that I may print larger photo later. Fotomax tell me any thing better than 300dpi is good, is it true?

Are my calculation correct? e.g. Photoimpact X : Y = 1800 X 1200
300dpi 1800 x 1200 = 2.160MP
350dpi 2100 x 1400 = 2.940MP
400dpi 2400 x 1600 = 3.840MP
450dpi 2700 x 1800 = 4.860MP
500dpi 3000 x 2000 = 6MP

Could anyone suggest any figures? Any simple calculations?
