相機重點測光 measures the light reflect from the object. It assume the object surface is grey. White or black surface would give very different measurement.

測光表 measure the light at the place of the object disregarding the reflective capability of the surface of the object(eg. white, black surface won't affect the measurement) It is the true brightness at that place.

For serious photographer 測光表 is better.

B4 you consider buy a 測光表, I think u have to first try to
practise 測光 when taking photo with your camera. eg. choosing/select what subject is good for 測光 system of your own camera.

External 測光表 will have other and more skill for operate.

如果對攝影有d要求,就算相機本身有測光功能,再買一個測光錶都係有需要的,因為獨立測光錶最主要係可以測入射光,對於影人像呀,靜物呀咁都好有幫助,重有係好多測光錶都可以測埋閃燈添,這功能就更加有用喇,講真而家影數碼就話可以即時睇番,唔好就再影過,但影菲林測光唔準就死硬,有測光錶就穩陣好多添呀~~~
