Because the colour temp. during sunset is around 2700-3000K,
so the 7000K setting would results the picture very warm.

And, the "normal" you mean when?
the Kodak standard for photography is - 12.00 Washington 5600K.
I'm suggest you to call it "warm" rather than "red"; red is the colour of sun that you see, but "warm" is the colour temp.
