Two different Lens and two different purposes.
18-200 is a good all around Lens for traveling, but not as shape as 24-70, 24-105 and most of the L Lens.
60 marco is great for shooting flowers, insects and any detail photos.

I think so.
Why not consider 70-200 f/4 or even f/2.8 L Lens. They both are very good Lens.

raullaw, if u already have 17-85mm, better buy 55-250IS $1.6k, quality of course can't compete with 70-200/f4 but it is the best cheap cheap zoom lens from Canon
