I expect G10 can fight against with Panasonic LX3 !! But according to the specification, I think the noise control for G10 will be better than LX3. Also it have 5x zoom. Rather than that, nothing special ! Ah...................

Custom Self-timer (自拍) (1s - 30s dely), (1 shot - 10 shots)?? G9 has got it.

This feature is now standard in all Canon DCs and DSLRs. No reason G10 doesn't have this.

冇買,唔識講

G2
劃時代產品,但只得三點對照,先天不足

G3
當年機皇,毫無對手,要個樣,有個樣

G5
係G3老翻,像數多咗,雜訊多咗,部機黑咗,衰過G3

G6
個碼細咗,顏色雜訊較G5難看,個LCD monitor仲係得兩吋,雖然好過G5個1.8吋,但其他對手已經有2.5吋,例如sony-v3,各方面都好過佢,當年我放咗個G6,即日買咗個V3,拋棄過C記9個月,
另一方面, G6加閃燈後,頭重尾輕,失敗

G7/G9
冇咗個旋轉LCD monitor,死罪,所以無買,由G7開始,C記自己玩死咗G系,反而當年350D勁抵買

G10
樣好又如何?28mm又如何?要big zoom,揀sx10is,要畫質,揀1000d,G10兩頭唔到岸!

好懷念PRO-1,G5/G6之間,又有紅圈鏡,但當年買得太貴...現在好想擁有...

This is the problem with Canon; they need to balance the specs of the prosumer G with entry level DSLR's. So they will always leave something out in G in order not to distract potential DSLR users, which I believe from a camera producer's point of view is much more preferable given the potential for DSLR users to add lens and accessories.

Other brands such as Ricoh, Olympus, etc who are more focused on amateur/prosumer camera will probably try to put their best features in the compact camera products in order to compete.

This is the real art of marketing; always leave something for buyers to desire without completely turning them away.
