Hi,

I upgrade to Mark II not a week ago and I tried to use 580 EX flash to take indoor picture. The light were set directly rebounced from ceiling. The picture came out is the top half is light and the lower part of picture is dark. What makes this happen and how can I improve it when I have chance to take indoor pictures with flash again?

Sounds like an issue of 2nd curtain
I think you turned on the high speed sync on the flash, try turn on the second curtain or high speed sync in the camera manual. Alternatively, may need to lower the shutter speed, usually slower than 1/800s should have no problem

There are too many possible reasons causing this, just based on your description above. Without the actual photo I think it’s hard to tell.
It could be related to shutter speed/aperture, light bouncing angle, metering problem, and it could be related to the shooting environment.

我就喜歡60度+LEAN BACK支燈+光罩, 唔夠光時, RAW後製谷番FILL LIGHT搞掂, 我最怕見到下巴有黑影, 一哥都愛莫能助
