Does anyone know if Canon 450D can cope with Sigma APO 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DF OS HSM? What is the quality of photos?

Any drawback? I know that Sigma APO 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DF OS HSM
weights 1750g.

Of course it can be used in any mode. For the photo quality, since I don't have this lens, cannot give any comment.

No experience with this lens, but Sigma lens usually ok for daily use, those of "EX" are better, but the quality control of sigma lenses are not very constant. U have to try with your camera to check
1. front/back focus (usually can be fixed)
2. aperture value may not be very accurate, e.g. f11 may turn out be f8 or f16 (usually not a big problem)
3. the worst case I experienced is ONE side sharp the other side blur, indicating the lens is OFF-AXIS which mean the optical axis of all the glass elements inside the lens is not perpendicular to the senor plane, this one cannot be fixed, can only be exchanged.
