depending on the shutter speed. it makes no difference when using 1/250 and above! also, it won't be able to help u in capturing moving objects!
to be honest, if u want me to tell u the truth. i would say the one without "is" produces better image quality. how do i know? coz i've got both in my hand.

sure! so if over the safe shutter, don't switch on the IS, image will blur than not switch on IS, this also happen on DC's IS etc... before my Pan FX7.... now my Can Ixs 860IS, good luck!

If you can hold the camera firmly, you can usually get 1-2 stops lower than the safe shutter speed, so why bother to spend more money to buy an IS lens with 3 stops lower? just for the advantage of 1 stop more?

就算有足夠光線，IS都未必冇用，可以用較細光圈、較慢快門、較低ISO
當critical moment，分別就係影倒同影唔倒，你話分別大唔大？
