Dear Brother,

Budget : HKD10K to 15K
Mainly used for taking BB photo (both indoor & outdoor) + some scene shooting.

What's the recommendation..?

1.) 40D+小小白IS

2.) 50D+Tokina 50-135/ 2.8 or Sigma 50-150/2.8

With longer focal length and longer distance, it can provide more space that the baby would not be disturbed. you can take more natural photos.

With longer facal length and short distance for head shot. you can obtain a fantastic backgournd

With large aperture / IS, your don't need to flash your baby directly

Wo, You want some scene shooting also. I missed it!

Then according to yor budget, I suggest

40D+Tokina 50-135/2.8 or sigma 50-150/2.8 + Tokina 12-24/4

If you want to obtain a better qaulity, The range of the focal length should not be too large

Canon 40D +
Indoor : Sigma 30mm F1.4 (larger depth of field make it easier in focus)
Outdoor: Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 (Add this lens if budget allows)

And How's about Flash.. Do I need one for just wait....?

How's about Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.. (seemed good for indoor photo taking....right?)

For 40D, 50D use
50mm is a bit too long indoor.

For indoor, use flashlight face to ceiling, don't direct flash to BB
