我想問吓以下兩枝鏡的分別, 點解價錢會相差咁遠?

1) Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM (二手$2650左右)
2) Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 (二手$600左右)

仲有, 我想問話就話係廣角鏡50MM, 咁係唔係就影唔到近過50MM的影像呀?

鏡頭的價錢唔係貴一倍就靚一倍，好多時都係靚少少就貴勁多。 故此純以性價比來講，50mm 1.8係非常之抵玩。 而1.4佢光圈大D（光圈大D對價錢已經有非常大影響），有USM，對焦快而寧靜，散景比1.8漂亮。

The lens focal length figure is nothing to do with the min. focusing distance. It refers to the angle of view on a given format of sensor (or film long time ago).

In film age, for 135 format ie. normal film most people use in the older time and now most people called full frame because the sensor of full frame bodies (1Ds series and 5D series) is roughly has the same size of a film that 24mm x 36mm.

In those bodies a 50mm is roughly provide an angle of view like human eyes, so people used to use this as the standard lens, just like you see through you own eyes.

Because of the cost of sensor production, smaller sensor is produced 450D, 500D, 40D and 50D etc all need to x1.6 because the sensor is smaller so that a 50mm lens now only provide a narrow angle of view so 50mm on these bodies no longer is a standard lens.

For macro, this can be done by lot of ways, some people use the cheapest way is buy a macro tube in Sum Shui Po, made in China only cost you less than HK$ 80. it can change your lens to macro lens.

Go to Canon show room and bring your own memory card to take photos from 50 f1.8 and 50 f1.4 and see the different of your own, if you can't see the different that means either one can be.

It is no pain to buy such a cheap & good lens for beginner.

The sharpness of this lens is of course cannot be compared with 50/1.4, but when stepped down to 4, it can compare with many L zoom lens such as little little white IS.

Also @4, it even beat little white or little white IS.

The only disadvantage of this lens is the ugly bokeh which is not quite nice for shooting portrait.

I sold my 50/1.4 after buying this 50/1.8 several years ago @$630 new

其實50 f1.8, 好多人唔鐘意的原因, 只是因為佢的外形, 其實佢的性能, 真係唔錯, 買o左一定唔會後悔的鏡頭.

早前同場攝影C影婚禮時用上50 1.4，我係客串的只用上 50 1.8，過場時望下佢影D相，我心中就好明白，只要你用得其所，平鏡都會係好鏡。因為見到佢D相平平無其，我就用光線及氣氛取勝，可能大家將張相放大到A3時，我會無咁sharp，但其實睇相的人多不是聞相的，相片係要有感染力的，鏡頭只係輔助你去表達。你買支靚咪唔代表你唱歌好聽的道理！！

我用過50mm f1.4, 用左半年就賣番出去, 依家用o既係50mm f1.8, 可以話你知兩支野影出來d質素真係分唔到, 新手建議買f1.8果支便可, 錢多請買f1.2果支.

另外呢兩支野二手價咁貴? 咁不如買新o既好過, 而50mm唔夠廣角, 簡單講mm數字越細就越廣角.
