Dear all,

I am new to the camera world and just bought G10 yesterday. Do u know if there is any original bag for G10. or you have any good suggestions for alternatives?? Thanks a lot!!

Canon's "original" bag has never been any good. No compartment for spare battery or memory card, no rain cover, bad fitting, and the zipper is never smooth.

However, LowePro's bag is okay.

I've been using 3 LowePro bags (last generation) for my S80 (D-Res 9) and Canon G7 (D-Res 20AW, D-Res 10AW). Those AW series (for All Weather) also come with rain cover.

The bag got good cushioning, compartments for spare battery and memory card. Those with compartment for memory card, it is large enough for CF cards, which is good, so you can stuff the entire plastic case for SD card.

The newer series has orange lining inside, and has a rubber bottom on the outside for more protection. The compartment inside got more sophisticated.

In short, worth taking a look.

Hi Henry,

LowePro's bags are available in most camera shops.

萬成/永成 on Sai Yeung Choi St, or DCFever shops as well.

I know a shop on Stanley St, Central has the fullest collection too.
