I am planning to buy a Canon G11. but I notice that the pivot allowing the LCD monitor to turn up and down is small and seems easily broken.

Can anyone, especially the G11 owners, please advise.

pretty okay, use more than 2 months, no abnormality so far! in fact, I use the flip mon as the second handle for talking portrait form factor picture!
