My Manfrotto 728B is costing a few hundred bucks a few years ago. Though a bit heavy because it's not made of carbon fibre, I find it very capable of taking long exposure shots. Dunno why there is a correlation between sturdiness and price, or even CF.

Manfrotto 係ok的但只是雲臺，因為腳架下面啪果出腳位下有少少問題有可能用得多會自動缩起。所以如果唔check支腳架上機去會突發性跌下來。

Buy only Gitzo 2541, or 3541 , you will never regrete, it is money well spend for the best tripod (to use for 10 years),
you spend 2000hkd for a cheap tripod, you end up selling it for 1000hkd in one year later, this is stupid,
with 2541 or 3541 you wont need to think about changing for an up grade for a very very very long time, it is money well spend,
I agree with 4000 hkd for tripod,
and 3000 hkd for head,
you dont need to get a expensive head right away, but the tripod that is great is first thing to begin with,
2541 is around 1.4kg and will hold up to 12kg load (as catalog explains)
3541 is around 1.8kg and holds up to 18kg load, (as catalong)
use 2541 for your 80-400 is good,
use 3541 if you plan to get bigger lenses in future,
