similar aperture 3.5 - 5.6.

I have both (in sequence), I find 16-85 is sharper and earlier to use as 18-200 can extend really long and its performance drop quite a bit after 135 anyway. Go for 16-85 and get a 55-200 is a good combination.

Depends on your need la. Afterall 18-200 is more of a "travel lens".

If you get afford to take 16-85 + 70-300, or any two lenses combination, I'd bring 18-35 + 70-200 instead.

In addition, you have not consider the weight. ^_^

Water goods for lens usually Ok bout not for cam.
for normal use 16-85 is better
24mm is standard wideangle in nowadays.

Address is at 1/f of ' Sin Dad' commercial complex. MK.
usually only one female shopkeeper there.
the shop is rather small. may no other 'sales" disturb U!
