Anybody has experience with this printer?

Is it true that all printer has a short service life? My old Epson i used for just 3 years, i took it 2 repair once, but it was out of order within 6 mths. it's expensive 2 repair (I think it was the print head) so I'm thinking a replacement. I print photos from my dc mainly, printing on cds could be fun 2.

I think you should not use it too much...

Epson should be told you to print a printout(for warm up) every week to keep it in a good condition.

O ok thanks. Of cos the salesperson doesnt tell u the details. In that case i wont get it as i live aboard & my family only use it once in a blue moon. Pls can u recommend a 'occasional' printer?

But this is the problem of all ink jet printer including my printer and the other brands' product. Sorry I can't help you...!
