Compact Flash Type I 同 Type II 有咩分別?
A70 只係可以用 Type I 而 S50 就Type I 同 Type II都可以
如果把 Type II 放係 A70 到用會有咩後果?!

Type I and I are actually of the same interface, but type II CF cards are thicker than type I to accomodate larger capacity.
So camera accepting type II have a thicker memory card slot, and u can't insert a type II card into a camera supports only type I as the slot is not thick enough.

CF2 also called microdrive have a larger capacity but consumed more electricity. Its thickness is larger. Camera which does not support it cannot use it.

Type II is not called microdrive.
Microdrive is only one the cards which use type II slots, in fact, there are some other high capacity CF cards also in type II.

I heard someone said Type I can use only up-to 128Mb CF Card, is it true?? Since I also bought A70 but yet the CF card. I wanted to buy a 256Mb card, does it suitable for my A70? Thanks

If a camera supports CF type I, then it should be able to support cards of all capacity in type I.
To be safe u can bring ur camera to test before paying for it.

So, there is no big difference between CF I and II except for the size of the slots? I also want to ask whether the speed of the CF card really matters. For example, there are some cards saying it is 25x or ultraspeed but others don't disclose the speed.
