sorry you can't direct trsf pics from DC to ipod photo, another adaptor is needed.... of course another $850.

I know that there are two adaptors - connect to DC and memory card. Are they good, fast or slow? Which one is better?

I think if you're going to buy a PMP, perhaps ipod photo is a good choice in reckon with its design/appearance. However, if you'd find a digital wallet, I'd consider Archos instead.
