Does the brand name affects the quality of the memory card? So like Kingston and Sandisk are better than other non popular brand?

一般情況係, 不過如果知道大部份都係 OEM 同一廠出品就唔同, 一些細牌子根本冇可能自己獨力投資一條生產線, 就如市面上大部份 notebook 都係 台灣代功的一樣, 所以大公司優勢在售後服務及品牌方面.

I think there is no big diff. % them. However, we should pay more attention to the quality of lot / batch of the memory card. For example, about 1 or 2 years ago, many users reported that some lots of Sandisk card gave read/write problems their Palm PDA.

So brands is not an issue as long as the capacity and the speed of the card?

In my opinion, brandname is not the most importance issue. I pay attention to the quality, speed and capacity.

Now, I am using imation 512MB 80x SD card in my S80. It works fine. It must be OEM product from SanDisk or others. The falling price of hardware is more than 50% (or even more) each year.
