I have just downloaded Photocap and rescaled (not 2-edge cut) my 4:3 photos taken by my A70 to 3:2. I then send my 1796x1192 photos to printing store to print (I chose Tin Yin). However, I found that all the photos are very mis-shaped and the 2 edges are still being cut.

What have I done wrong? Could some expert brothers shred me some light?

no matter how fit your 3:2 scale, the shop may still cut edges, so if u don't want them to do so. try to tell them to have a white edge

if the photo is large than expect the output size (eg. 4R), the output machine will automatically resize it, any resize process will more or less softer the image.
If u don't want the image softer, u may resize better to 1000 x 667 and sharpen your photo by software such as photoshop (unsharp mask filter)
