I said this before here, and I can say this now again with even more confidence after sighting of these beta samples:

with my f1.4 prime, very useful ISO1600 or even iso3200 from this D7D, antishake that gives me an extra 2 to 3 stops, I can put away my 5600D flash and my tripod, and embrace all available lighting shots and street photography with a hugh simle. Boy. I am excited.

I think every hard core Minolta user like me will not jump ship after seeing all those samples. Hope it's not too expansive (should be cheaper than Canon 20D I think?). Anti-shake function is really a smart design.

hope KM will price the D7D sensibly, and not to take advantage of die-hard minolta fans who has resisted the temptation of many fine offers like the 300D, D70, 20D, S2 pro for the past two years....

Minotla has always striked me as an innovator with products offering value for money. Hope this time KM will not deviate from this approach.

The thing I am still interested in finding out is the startup time. If the D7D can manage half as good as the 20D in this department, I am a happy soul.
