Copying a post in Nikon forum. What are the views from Canon users?

小弟本身用開D90但近期心思思想加入FF行列,小弟比較貪心又想影人又想影景.但聽D CHING 講5D MARK II 影人比D700好而影景D700又較優勝好難取寫.請各路CHING比D意見小弟(小弟身邊冇朋友用FF機)

umm ... from your question, I suggest you do more study about FF first.

as you mentioned the reason for the change is 心思思.

A Full Frame camera doesn't mean you will get good photo instantly.

For a FX camera, it actually require more skill, technique, and understanding of your camera to have a great photo.

影人 or 影景
all camera can do a good job ....

A superb AF system is one of the most important component that nowadays DSLR should possess. It doesn't matter whether you 影景or 影人. And the 5DMarkII AF system is basically a crap (no kidding). I have used Canon gears for many years (from entry model to 1 series) and this is one of the reason why I switched to Nikon. Try to research for more info regarding the AF capability of the two options you mentioned.
