I am the new user of 5D2, please advise how to set the camera such that when I press the shutter half-way to lock both AF and AE? Thanks a lot s.

"noddybb" hing, you mean to press the shutter halfway to lock both AF and AE? But when I press the shutter halfway, only AF is locked. How to set this? Thanks.

Yes, I know page 98 teach how to lock the metering, but by pressing * bottun. I just want to know who to lock AE by pressing the shutter halfway. Thanks.

press WB which on body top, then turn ur metering
there is : o, (), (o) and "nothing".
choose (o), shutter and aperture will hold after half-press shutter release button
i dun how call them , but i know what their function
